The car boot sale of the APE of Pomarez

Pomarez, a small Landes town of 1,500 inhabitants nestled on the banks of the Luy-de-Béarn, is world-renowned as the capital of Landes running. But beyond its arenas, the village also comes alive in the spring thanks to the car boot sale organized by the Parents' Association, a family and solidarity event.

An event for children

The APE of Pomarez organizes this car boot sale every year to finance extracurricular activities, outings, and educational projects for the school children. The profits are entirely reinvested for the benefit of the students, giving this event a solidarity dimension appreciated by the inhabitants. The exhibitors, mainly families from the village and its surroundings, offer children's clothing, toys, books, childcare equipment, and everyday items.

Indoor and outdoor pitches

Exhibitors can choose between indoor pitches, with tables provided at a rate of 8 euros for 2 linear meters, and outdoor pitches for 3 euros. This dual format allows adaptation to weather conditions and offers great flexibility to sellers. Registration is open from 6:30 am for setup before the public opening.

Catering and conviviality

The APE provides catering on-site with a snack bar offering hot and cold sandwiches from 10 am, accompanied by cold and hot drinks. The atmosphere is resolutely family-friendly and convivial, reflecting the spirit of this warm village where everyone knows each other.
