The Grande Foire Annuelle de Laissac held its 2025 edition on Sunday, May 11th, bringing together over 250 exhibitors and around 8,000 visitors in the town center streets and fairground esplanades. Plants and flowers in the town center, tools and agricultural machinery on the cattle fairground, regional products and crafts under the sheep hall: the fair once again confirmed its status as the largest fair in Aveyron, in this town renowned for France's leading livestock market.
On Sunday, May 11, 2025, the Grande Foire Annuelle de Laissac took over the streets, squares, and fairground esplanades of Laissac-Sévérac-l'Église for a day of large-scale departmental fair. More than 250 exhibitors were present in the various areas of this event, which attracts around 8,000 visitors each year from all over Aveyron and neighboring departments.
In the town center, nursery owners and horticulturists offered a wide selection of plants, flowers, and shrubs for the garden. On the esplanade of the cattle fairground — where France's leading livestock market is held every Tuesday — stands for tools, agricultural machinery, and gardening equipment attracted DIY enthusiasts and agricultural professionals. Under the sheep hall, local producers and artisans showcased the riches of the Aveyron region: cheeses, cured meats, honey, jams, and artisanal creations.
The village shops opened their doors, restaurants offered their specialties, and local associations provided on-site catering. The funfair completed the entertainment throughout the weekend, making this 2025 edition a successful family and popular event.
