Great Flea Market and Car Boot Sale of Saint-Julien-Chapteuil — 2026 edition

As every summer, the association Les Amis de Vernassal organises its great flea market and car boot sale in the heart of Saint-Julien-Chapteuil (Haute-Loire). The pitches extend along the cobbled streets and in the squares of the medieval village, offering bargain hunters an exceptional setting at the gates of Mézenc.

The stalls offer a wide range of objects: antique and modern furniture, crockery and tableware, clothes and accessories, books and records, trinkets and curiosities of all kinds. To punctuate the day of bargain hunting, volunteers provide full catering with a refreshment stand, snack bar and tea room.

This popular summer event in the Mézenc-Meygal area usually takes place on a Sunday in mid-July. The precise date for the 2026 edition will be communicated by the organiser; we indicate an estimated date (Sunday, July 12th, 2026) pending official confirmation.
