Annual solidarity flea market of the Secours Populaire de Figeac for humanitarian actions
Every year in the summer, the Secours Populaire Français of Figeac organizes a large solidarity flea market. This practical and generous event allows you to find good deals while supporting essential humanitarian causes. Secours Populaire volunteers collect, sort, and offer a wide range of carefully selected items for sale.
The proceeds from the Grande Brocante Solidaire are entirely donated to the association's actions. In 2025, the funds raised were dedicated to international actions to combat malnutrition in Madagascar, a cause defended with commitment by the Secours Populaire federation. Every purchase, however modest, directly contributes to these field actions that make a real difference in the lives of people in great precarity.
The flea market offers a deliberately varied selection to attract as many visitors as possible: second-hand furniture in good condition, clothing for adults and children, accessories, decorative items, tableware and table linen, household linen, books for all ages, toys in excellent condition. The items are meticulously selected by volunteers to ensure their quality. Prices are deliberately modest, in line with the social mission of Secours Populaire: to allow everyone to access quality products at reduced prices.
The Secours Populaire Français of Figeac is a historic branch of this large national solidarity association. Present in the city for many years, it carries out regular actions for people in difficulty: food aid, clothing, support for families, educational and cultural activities. The Grande Brocante Solidaire is one of its most anticipated public events, allowing the association to raise funds while raising awareness among the local population about its actions.
The Grande Brocante Solidaire du Secours Populaire de Figeac is an annual event organized every summer in the Lafarrayrie area, in Figeac (Lot). Shoppers can find furniture, clothes, accessories, crockery, household linen, books, toys, and many second-hand items offered by volunteers.
Admission is free, and the funds collected are donated to a project fighting malnutrition and poverty in Madagascar, carried out with partner association Soakilonga.
