Grand charity flea market of the Lions Club Royan Doyen on the Royan seafront
The Grande Brocante of the Lions Club de Royan is an annual event organized in May by the Lions Club Royan Doyen on the seafront of Royan. 50 to 100 exhibitors, individuals and professionals, take over the Promenade Oubangui Chari, the Esplanade Kerimel de Kerveno, and the Promenade Dugua de Mons for a day of treasure hunting facing the ocean. Entry is free for visitors. Pitches are 5 euros per linear meter, minimum 5 meters. All proceeds are donated to the Lions Club's charitable causes.
Every year in May, the Lions Club Royan Doyen organizes its Grande Brocante on the seafront of Royan, one of the most beautiful spots on the Côte de Beauté. 50 to 100 exhibitors, individuals and professionals, take over the Promenade Oubangui Chari, the Esplanade Kerimel de Kerveno, and the Promenade Dugua de Mons for an exceptional day of flea marketing facing the Atlantic.
The seafront of Royan offers a spectacular setting for this Grande Brocante. Stalls stretch for several hundred meters along the promenade, with views of the Grande Conche, the iconic beach of the seaside resort. You can find antique furniture, crockery, trinkets, vintage clothing, books, paintings, tools, and all sorts of curiosities. Coffee is offered to exhibitors, and a refreshment stand with food is available on site.
A legendary seaside resort in Charente-Maritime, Royan is famous for its five sandy beaches, its 1950s architecture—including the covered market classified as a historic monument and the Notre-Dame church—and its incomparable summer atmosphere. The Grande Brocante du Lions Club is part of the festive and commercial tradition of this ocean-facing city, attracting treasure hunters and strollers from all over Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
The Lions Club Royan Doyen donates all funds raised during this event to its charitable causes: aid to people in need, support for local associations, and actions for vision and the environment. Participating in this flea market, whether as an exhibitor or a visitor, means contributing to these solidarity missions while enjoying a day of treasure hunting by the ocean.
The Grande Brocante is open to visitors from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Entry is free. Exhibitors set up from 6:30 AM. Pitches are offered at 5 euros per linear meter, with a minimum of 5 meters. Registration is mandatory. Coffee is offered to exhibitors. Refreshments and food available on site.
