The big biannual flea market of Place de la Fauconnière
Twice a year, in spring and autumn, the Comité des Fêtes de Seyssinet-Pariset organizes a large flea market on Place de la Fauconnière and Avenue du Général de Gaulle. With around 300 exhibitors at each edition, it is one of the biggest antique hunting events in the west of Grenoble.
Seyssinet-Pariset, a town of over 12,000 inhabitants located west of Grenoble, benefits from a strategic location between Grenoble city center and the first foothills of the Vercors. Place de la Fauconnière offers a vast space ideal for hosting the hundreds of stalls that extend onto Avenue du Général de Gaulle.
The spring flea market, usually in April, opens the outdoor antique hunting season. The autumn flea market, in October, allows for a final bargain session before winter. Both editions attract a large and loyal crowd, consisting of private sellers and flea market enthusiasts from all over the Grenoble metropolitan area.
The Comité des Fêtes de Seyssinet-Pariset manages the organization professionally. Exhibitor registration is done online via the HelloAsso platform or by collecting a registration form at the Comité des Fêtes office. The price is set at €11 for a 2-meter pitch. Refreshments and snacks are available on-site throughout the day.
