Every May, the quays of La Roche-de-Glun come alive to host the town's grand annual car boot sale. Facing Tournon-sur-Rhône on the Ardèche bank, La Roche-de-Glun boasts a remarkable site on the banks of the Rhône, with views of the Crozes-Hermitage vineyards and the Pilat massif in the background. A commune on the left bank of the Rhône, La Roche-de-Glun is located about twelve kilometers south of Valence, in the Crozes-Hermitage area, one of the largest appellations in the northern Rhône valley. This renowned wine-growing region, which produces the great Crozes-Hermitage and Hermitage wines, surrounds the commune with its carefully cultivated vines on alluvial terraces.

La Roche-de-Glun is also known for its historic suspension bridge connecting it to Tournon-sur-Rhône.
