Every May 1st, the Brotteaux football stadium in Châtillon-la-Palud hosts one of the most popular farfouilles in the Ain department. Jointly organized by the local football club and the Sou des Écoles, this event brings together around 280 exhibitors in a warm and family-friendly atmosphere.

An Event Supporting Local Youth

The Châtillon-la-Palud Farfouille is not just a simple car boot sale: it is a solidarity event whose profits support the town's football club and school activities. The Sou des Écoles, a parent-teacher association, finances school trips, shows, and extracurricular activities for the town's children thanks to the revenue from the refreshment stand and pitches.

A Complete Family Day

Beyond browsing through hundreds of stalls, the Farfouille offers entertainment for the whole family. Giant wooden games are available for children, while the refreshment stand and food stall allow visitors to eat throughout the day. The atmosphere is relaxed, families gather, and children play freely in the stadium's secure area.

Practical Information for Exhibitors

Pitches are available for €10 for 5 linear meters, without prior reservation. Sellers can arrive from 5 am to set up, while visitors are welcomed from 7 am. The event ends at 5 pm. An identity document is required for on-site registration. Food vendors are not accepted among the exhibitors.
