Every early September, the historic town center of Vitré (35500) hosts a grand car boot sale bringing together around 500 exhibitors. The stalls are set up in the picturesque streets of this listed medieval city, at the foot of the impressive Château des Barons de Vitré. You can find clothes, toys, books, dishes, vinyl records, trinkets, small furniture, tools, and vintage items. The crowds are there, with bargain hunters taking advantage of the exceptional setting to stroll between heritage and good deals.

A medieval city transformed into a giant flea market

Vitré, a sub-prefecture of Ille-et-Vilaine and a "City of Art and History", offers an incomparable setting for bargain hunting.
