Every May 8th, the Lions Club de Sarlat organizes its Grande Brocante de Printemps on the Place du 19 Mars 1962, right in the heart of the medieval city of Sarlat-la-Canéda. This event, which has become a must-attend on the Sarlat calendar, brings together professional flea market dealers and antique dealers for a day of quality treasure hunting.

An exclusively professional flea market

Unlike car boot sales open to everyone, the Grande Brocante de Printemps is reserved for professional exhibitors. Fewer than 50 selected flea market dealers and antique dealers present antique furniture, art objects, paintings, silverware, lighting fixtures, and curiosities. This selection guarantees visitors a quality offering, rare pieces, and a level of expertise appreciated by connoisseurs and collectors.

A charity event for the benefit of the Petits Princes

The Lions Club de Sarlat donates the profits from the event to charitable works, particularly the Association des Petits Princes, which fulfills the dreams of sick and hospitalized children and adolescents. Treasure hunting at the Sarlat flea market thus also contributes to a cause of solidarity.
