Every spring, Avenue Jean Jaurès in Montfermeil is transformed into a vast open-air flea market. Organised by Starbrocante, a specialist in large-scale flea market events in the Paris region, this event brings together up to 300 private vendors over several hundred metres. Free admission, a lively atmosphere and a wide variety of objects are on offer.

As early summer arrives, Montfermeil's main thoroughfare turns into a long open-air flea market. The Town Centre Flea Market, organised by Starbrocante, one of the key players in Île-de-France flea market events, brings together several hundred vendors along Avenue Jean Jaurès. The event is among the best-attended flea markets in Seine-Saint-Denis.
Starbrocante: a proven track record
Starbrocante organises large-scale flea markets in several Paris-region communes. In Montfermeil, the formula is well established: stalls are set up from dawn (from 4:30 AM), visitors arrive from 6 AM and the event closes at 5 PM. Up to 300 private vendors offer furniture, crockery, clothing, vinyl records, toys, trinkets and all manner of objects. Refreshments are available on site.
Montfermeil Town Centre Flea Market — edition 2026
The 2026 Montfermeil Town Centre Flea Market will take place on Sunday 7 June on Avenue Jean Jaurès, organised by Starbrocante. Around 300 private vendors will offer their bric-a-brac from 6 AM to 5 PM. Free admission. Exhibitor registration on starbrocante.com (€13/m, €11 for residents).
