Rue des Écoles, the main street of Amailloux, transforms for a day into a treasure market. Stalls line the roadway, offering visitors a human-scale browsing route. The offering is typical of countryside garage sales: clothing, shoes, toys, board games, books, crockery, tools, ornaments, and decorative objects.

Amailloux is a commune in the Gâtine parthenaisienne, the bocage plateau of northern Deux-Sèvres characterized by its hedgerows, meadows, and dispersed farmstead settlements. The village retains discreet rural heritage with its church and granite houses.

The Amailloux car boot sale returns on Saturday, June 13, 2026 on Rue des Écoles (at the stadium), organized by the Amailloux Festival Committee. A friendly day of bargain hunting in the heart of the Gâtine parthenaisienne, in Deux-Sèvres.
Around 200 private exhibitors offer bric-a-brac, clothes, toys, books, and crockery. Open to bargain hunters from 8 AM to 6 PM. Free admission for visitors.
