The Friperie Solidaire, ethical and solidarity fashion in Agen
The Friperie Solidaire is an initiative of the feminist association La Mèche, founded in 2021 in Agen. Every year in the open air, the association sells clothes for all genders and ages, at very accessible prices (between 1 and 3 €). The event is held at Place Jasmin, in the heart of Agen.
An ecological and feminist commitment
Beyond the sale, the Friperie Solidaire is part of an ecological (second-hand) and social (fight against economic precariousness) approach. The profits finance the association's actions: safe spaces, feminist events, awareness-raising against gender-based violence. It is the only association that is an exhibitor, offering its own stock.
