Organized every first weekend of October, this event perpetuates a centuries-old tradition dating back over 840 years. The 846th edition was held in October 2025, confirming the vitality of a popular gathering to which the people of Dreux are deeply attached.

The Foire Saint-Denis offers an eclectic program that appeals to all audiences. Throughout the streets and squares of Dreux town center, visitors discover a street sale by local traders, a gourmet and artisanal village, a large funfair, a car boot sale for individuals, non-resident traders, and a catering area with food trucks, restaurateurs, and associations. Shows, artistic parades, and free miniature train rides complete the program for the delight of families.

A country in the spotlight each year

For several years, the Foire Saint-Denis has highlighted a guest country, adding a cultural and gastronomic dimension to the event. The car boot sale: an unmissable attraction

At the heart of the Foire Saint-Denis, the car boot sale organized in Place du Musée is one of the weekend's highlights. Open on Saturday from 10:30 am to 7 pm and on Sunday from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm, it brings together dozens of individual exhibitors offering their finds, creating a treasure hunt atmosphere in the historic center of Dreux.
