The largest autumn fair in France with 1,500 to 1,800 exhibitors over 30 hectares
Every year in September, Beaucroissant hosts the most important edition of its historic fair, a direct descendant of the fair founded in 1219 after the great flood of Grenoble. The Foire d'Automne far exceeds the Foire de Printemps in scale, with 1,500 to 1,800 exhibitors spread over more than 30 hectares for three days.
The Foire d'Automne covers all sectors of rural and artisanal life: agricultural machinery and public works machines, livestock market (cattle, sheep, goats, poultry), pets, crafts, food and local products, tools, and gardening. A significant flea market and antiques sector complements the offer, making this event a must-see for bargain hunters.
The fair takes place over three days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), with entertainment, shows, and a festive area open until late in the evening. The site is open from 8 am to 7 pm, while the refreshment and catering area remains lively until 11 pm. Tens of thousands of visitors flock from all over the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region for this popular and historic celebration.
