Large professional flea market for nearly a kilometer along the RN113 in Pézenas, 200+ exhibitors
Twice a year, the national road 113 in Pézenas (34120) transforms into a huge flea market stretching for nearly a kilometer. More than 200 professional flea market dealers and antique dealers set up on both sides of the road to offer a sumptuous array of items: period furniture, antique linen, jewelry, fine tableware, paintings, prints, African art, watchmaking, rare books, and curiosities. This Grand Déballage, one of the largest in the south of France, attracts thousands of visitors eager to hunt for treasures in a festive and passionate atmosphere.
Pézenas has about fifty antique dealers and flea market dealers who are permanently based in its medieval streets and Renaissance townhouses. The former residence of the governors of Languedoc, the city has preserved an exceptional architectural heritage: Hôtel de Lacoste, Hôtel d'Alfonce, Commandery of Saint-Jean. It was here that Molière stayed between 1650 and 1657, creating several of his works. The tradition of flea markets is naturally integrated into this city of art and history, where beauty and antiquity are celebrated daily.
The Grand Déballage is organized by ABAP (Association des Brocanteurs et Antiquaires de Pézenas), which guarantees the professional quality of the event. Only registered professionals are allowed to exhibit, ensuring visitors an authentic and high-level offering. The 2026 dates are confirmed: Sunday, May 3 and Sunday, October 11. Admission is free and catering is available on site.
