The abbey of Saint-Antoine, founded in the 12th century, is the historical cradle of the Hospitaller Order of Saint Anthony, which treated patients suffering from "Saint Anthony's Fire." The village that developed around this imposing building has fully retained its medieval character with its half-timbered houses, cobbled streets, old market halls, and shaded squares.
