Antiques fair in the Renaissance district of Vieux-Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site – autumn edition
The Vieux Lyon Antiques Fair is a biannual event (spring and autumn editions) bringing together the finest antique dealers and professional brocanteurs from the Lyon region and beyond. Over two days, visitors can discover and acquire exceptional pieces: antique furniture, paintings and prints, silverware, ceramics and porcelain, rare books, bronzes and sculptures, antique jewellery and assorted art objects.
Vieux-Lyon is one of the best-preserved medieval and Renaissance districts in Europe. Inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1998, it stretches along the right bank of the Saône. Its traboules, courtyards, colourful façades and Renaissance mansions with arcade galleries form a unique architectural heritage — the perfect backdrop for an antiques fair.
Metro line D (Vieux Lyon – Cathédrale Saint-Jean station). Saint-Jean funiculars (to Fourvière and Saint-Just). Bus C20, C21. The fair is held in the pedestrian streets of the Vieux-Lyon, accessible from the Saône quay.
