Antiques fair in the Renaissance district of Vieux-Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage Site – autumn edition
On 19 and 20 September 2026, the Vieux Lyon Antiques Fair takes over the streets and squares of the Renaissance district, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Professional antique dealers and brocanteurs offer antique furniture, paintings, silverware, ceramics, rare books and art objects in the incomparable setting of the Vieux-Lyon traboules and colourful façades. A landmark event for art and antique lovers.
The Vieux Lyon Antiques Fair is a biannual event (spring and autumn editions) bringing together the finest antique dealers and professional brocanteurs from the Lyon region and beyond. Over two days, visitors can discover and acquire exceptional pieces: antique furniture, paintings and prints, silverware, ceramics and porcelain, rare books, bronzes and sculptures, antique jewellery and assorted art objects.
Vieux-Lyon is one of the best-preserved medieval and Renaissance districts in Europe. Inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1998, it stretches along the right bank of the Saône. Its traboules, courtyards, colourful façades and Renaissance mansions with arcade galleries form a unique architectural heritage — the perfect backdrop for an antiques fair.
