Every September, USM Olivet Basket (USMO) organizes its traditional 'foire à tout' around l'Alliage, the cultural center of the town of Olivet. This unmissable back-to-school event in the Orléans agglomeration brings together exhibitors and visitors in a festive atmosphere for a great day of open-air car boot sale, in support of the local basketball club.

L'Alliage, the Ideal Setting for the Annual Fair

The cultural center l'Alliage, located in the heart of Olivet, offers a spacious and well-equipped setting to host this large-scale event. The areas around l'Alliage can accommodate numerous exhibitors in an accessible and pleasant environment, a stone's throw from the shops in the center of Olivet and easily accessible by car or public transport from the entire Orléans agglomeration.

A Car Boot Sale to Support the Basketball Club

The USMO Basket 'foire à tout' is more than just a second-hand market: it is the key fundraising event for the Olivet basketball club. The revenue generated from exhibitor registration fees helps support the sporting activities of the youth and senior teams, finance equipment and travel, and sustain the club's actions in Olivet's sporting life. Participating in this event therefore also means supporting local sports.

A Well-Oiled and Efficient Organization

Over the years, USMO Basket has developed a perfectly honed organization for this annual event. Exhibitors can register in advance (registrations are usually closed two days before the event) to reserve their spot. The fair runs from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, offering both exhibitors and visitors a long day of market trading. Catering is provided on-site by club volunteers.

Opening Hours and Access

The USMO Basket 'foire à tout' is held every third Sunday in September (in 2025: Sunday, September 14 or 15 depending on the year), from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, around l'Alliage in Olivet. Exhibitor registrations are usually open until the Friday before the event.
