Annual car boot sale in the village of Notre-Dame-de-l'Isle, loop of the Seine in Normandy, Eure
Each summer, the village of Notre-Dame-de-l'Isle hosts its annual Foire à tout in the magnificent setting of the Norman Seine valley. Nestled in a loop of the Seine between Vernon and Les Andelys, this village in the Eure benefits from an exceptional natural environment that gives this day of unpacking a special charm.
Notre-Dame-de-l'Isle is a commune in the Eure region nestled in a meander of the Seine, halfway between Vernon and Les Andelys. This sector of the Norman Seine is one of the most picturesque in Normandy: limestone cliffs, beech forests on the hillsides, and villages with half-timbered houses create landscapes worthy of Impressionist paintings. La Roche-Guyon, Giverny, and Les Andelys are not far away.
The Foire à tout of Notre-Dame-de-l'Isle brings together private sellers each year who wish to clear out their attics and cellars. Tableware, furniture, clothing, books, toys, and decorative objects are displayed for the pleasure of bargain hunters. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, in this beautiful village in the Seine valley.
From Vernon (27200), take the D313 along the Seine eastwards towards Les Andelys; Notre-Dame-de-l'Isle is about 15 km away. From Les Andelys, take the D313 westwards.
Free parking in the village.
