The May 1st, 2025 car boot sale in Lyons-la-Forêt brought together around 150 exhibitors on Place Benserade and in the lanes of this Most Beautiful Village of France. Treasure hunters and strollers from all over Normandy enjoyed the exceptional setting of the half-timbered market halls to find antiques, tableware, and vintage items.

Looking Back at the May 1st, 2025 Car Boot Sale
On May 1st, 2025, Lyons-la-Forêt once again hosted its grand annual car boot sale. Around 150 exhibitors—individuals and amateur dealers—took their places on Place Benserade and in the village streets from the early morning hours. The pleasant weather at the beginning of May favored a good turnout of visitors from Eure, Seine-Maritime, and Île-de-France.
The incomparable setting of this Norman half-timbered village, its market halls listed as Historic Monuments, and the festive atmosphere of May 1st made this edition particularly convivial. Antique tableware, books, tools, toys, and trinkets of all kinds made up a varied offering appreciated by treasure hunters. The next edition is expected on May 1st, 2026.
