Spring fair in the heart of the Pays d'Ouche, Risle Valley
Nestled in the Risle Valley, in the heart of the Pays d'Ouche, La Neuve-Lyre organizes a Foire à tout every spring, bringing together local exhibitors and visitors from all over the Eure region. Antique furniture, tableware, clothing, toys, books, and various objects fill the streets and squares of the village for a festive and lively day.
La Neuve-Lyre is located in the Pays d'Ouche, a natural area in the Eure region characterized by its dense forests, humid valleys, and green hedgerows. The Risle river, which flows through this region, feeds landscapes of great tranquility. The village itself retains typical Norman built heritage with its half-timbered houses.
The Foire à tout is an institution in the villages and towns of Normandy. Organized by associations or local committees, it allows residents to clear out their attics, find bargains at low prices, and come together in a festive atmosphere. In La Neuve-Lyre, this tradition is perpetuated year after year, contributing to the social life of the village.
