Grand car boot sale in the old village of Saint-Max near Nancy
Saint-Max, a town bordering Nancy nestled on the heights of the right bank of the Meurthe, hosts a large car boot sale every year in the picturesque streets of its old village. Around the Saint-Médard church and the rue du Marquis de Ranzey, exhibitors take over the historic district for a day of outdoor treasure hunting enjoyed by the people of Nancy and residents of the entire metropolitan area.
The Association Quartier Vieux Village of Saint-Max organizes this car boot sale which combines car boot sale, flea market, and flea market. Between 100 and 200 exhibitors offer antique tableware, furniture, clothing, toys, books, and collector's items. The setting of the old village, with its old houses and narrow streets, gives the event a special charm that contrasts with the surrounding urbanization.
Saint-Max is a residential commune in the Grand Nancy metropolitan area, known for its preserved old village and its immediate proximity to the city center of Nancy. The Saint-Médard church, around which the fair unfolds, is the historic heart of the commune. The visit can be extended by a walk through the steep streets of the old district or a discovery of the shops and facilities of this dynamic town.
Exhibitors have pitches for 15 euros for 5 linear meters. Setup is possible from 6 a.m. Refreshments, food, and toilets are available on site. The fair runs from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., attracting a family audience throughout the day.
