Annual flea market in the heart of Conteville, a Norman village in the Tancarville region near the Seine estuary
Every June, the village of Conteville comes alive to the rhythm of its annual flea market. In this town in Roumois, a Norman territory between the Seine and the Risle, private sellers take over the streets to offer their items to bargain hunters from the surrounding area. The event attracts residents from the Pays de Tancarville and the Lower Norman Seine.
Conteville is a village in the Eure department located in Roumois, a Norman agricultural plateau that extends between the Seine to the north and the Risle to the west. A few kilometers from the Pont de Tancarville and the Seine estuary, the village benefits from a remarkable geographical location between land and water. Its bocage landscapes, half-timbered farms, and orchards make up a typically Norman setting.
The Foire à tout de Conteville brings together dozens of private sellers each year who offer tableware, furniture, clothing, toys, books, and everyday items at very affordable prices. Entry is free for visitors, and the friendly atmosphere typical of village flea markets in the Eure is what makes the event charming.
From Pont-Audemer, take the D810 north towards Tancarville, then follow signs for Conteville (about 15 minutes). From Rouen, take the A13 towards Caen, exit at Bourneville, then head to Conteville.
Free parking in the village.
