In July 2025, the town center of Saugues hosted its traditional Foire à la Brocante as part of the Madeleine festivities. The cobbled streets of the medieval village turned into a treasure market, with exhibitors offering antiques, old objects, books, and furniture.

Visitors, including many pilgrims on the Compostela Way and tourists passing through Margeride, enjoyed this beautiful day of treasure hunting in the heart of one of Haute-Loire's most authentic villages. The event is fully in line with the local festive traditions linked to the Madeleine festival.
