Annual car boot sale and flea market in Munchhouse, a village on the Haut-Rhin plain, in Alsace
The Flea Market of Munchhouse is one of those summer village events that punctuate life in the rural communes of the Haut-Rhin plain. Every July, this small village of around 600 inhabitants welcomes private sellers and brocante lovers for a friendly open-air day. The 2026 edition is set for Sunday 19 July 2026. Clothes, toys, crockery, books, tools and furniture fill the stalls. Entry is free for all visitors.
Munchhouse (68740) is a small village of around 600 inhabitants on the Alsatian plain, in the arrondissement of Guebwiller. This area of the Rhine plain, between the Vosges mountains to the west and the Rhine to the east, is characterised by wide open spaces and a dense network of small Alsatian villages with traditional half-timbered houses.
The 33rd Munchhouse Flea Market will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2026, on rue de Mulhouse and rue d'Ensisheim in Munchhouse (68740), in the Haut-Rhin. This large open-air flea market, coupled with a producers' market, brings together between 200 and 300 exhibitors (individuals and professionals) from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Entry is free for bargain hunters. Small catering and refreshments available as part of the Fête de la Carpe Frite.
Hours: from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (exhibitor setup from 5:30 AM).
Admission: free for visitors.
Exhibitors: 200 to 300 stalls, individuals and professionals. Registration form downloadable from the organizer.
On site: light refreshments and drinks organized by the Fête de la Carpe Frite.
