6th annual flea market in La Chapelle-Erbrée, in May, at the gates of the Pays de Vitré
The flea market of La Chapelle-Erbrée, which celebrates its 6th edition, is an increasingly popular spring event in the Pays de Vitré. This small country village welcomes bargain hunters and exhibitors for a day of authentic and friendly flea marketing.
The flea market of La Chapelle-Erbrée (35500) celebrates its 6th edition in May 2026. What started as a small village car boot sale has become an anticipated event for bargain hunters in the Pays de Vitré. Exhibitors offer clothing, tableware, books, trinkets, tools, antique furniture, flea market items and various curiosities. The atmosphere is that of a real country flea market, far from the hustle and bustle of large urban street sales.
La Chapelle-Erbrée, a small commune of 1,300 inhabitants nestled in the Vitréan bocage, is the archetype of a preserved Breton village. The parish church, the granite farms and the hollow paths form a bucolic landscape that invites strolling. The flea market takes advantage of this authentic setting to offer visitors a countryside treasure hunt experience, away from the main roads.
Admission is free. Volunteers provide catering — crepes, galettes-saucisses, cakes and drinks — in a spirit of village conviviality. Grass parking on the outskirts of the site.
The 6th flea market of La Chapelle-Erbrée takes place on May 24, 2026, in the town center.
