Large flea market with 160 exhibitors and country festival by the Cher
Every summer in August, Saint-Julien-sur-Cher hosts its large flea market and country day on the riverbanks. With around 160 exhibitors, it is one of the most important events in the south of Loir-et-Cher. The natural setting of the banks of the Cher, shaded by trees, offers an ideal environment for treasure hunting in the middle of summer.
The originality of this event lies in its festive and rural character. In addition to the flea market, the program includes a pétanque competition open to all and a friendly barbecue. On-site catering allows you to extend the day by the water in an authentic village atmosphere.
Saint-Julien-sur-Cher is a commune in the Sologne viticole region, halfway between Romorantin-Lanthenay and Saint-Aignan. The Cher river, which flows through the commune, offers developed banks suitable for outdoor leisure activities. This riverside location is the main charm of the summer flea market.
