Flea market and Car boot sale at the Plan d'eau de Grandrieu

The association La Grandrieunaise organizes in Grandrieu its flea market and car boot sale twice every summer: in June and in August. These two summer events take place at the Plan d'eau (water body) of Grandrieu, a natural area developed around an artificial lake which is the main leisure and swimming site of the commune.

This exceptional natural setting — the water body, the surrounding meadows, the forests of the Margeride — gives these flea markets a particularly pleasant atmosphere of relaxation and vacation. Individuals and small antique dealers offer their items in an outdoor setting.

La Grandrieunaise, the village association

La Grandrieunaise is the cultural and festive association of Grandrieu. By organizing two summer events at the Plan d'eau, it creates two moments of gathering that energize local life during the high season. The profits fund the association's activities and village events.

Grandrieu, village of the Margeride

Grandrieu (48600) is a commune in Lozère in the Margeride region, in the canton of Saint-Alban-sur-Limagnole. This granite village at over 1000 meters altitude is characteristic of the Margeride plateau landscapes, with its high-altitude meadows and traditional farms.
