Épieds-en-Beauce is a village in the Beauce region of Loiret, this immense and fertile agricultural plain that extends west and north of Orléans. In this characteristic rural setting, the village organizes a flea market and car boot sale every end of August, bringing together exhibitors and visitors around a friendly and well-established second-hand market.

The flea market of Épieds-en-Beauce offers an authentic selection of second-hand objects, reflecting rural Beauceronne life. Around 80 exhibitors, individuals and sometimes a few dealers, set up on Rue des Mécontents and in the village center from the early morning hours:

Épieds-en-Beauce, a village in the Loiret Beauce

Épieds-en-Beauce is part of the Communauté de communes du Pays Dunois, on the borders of Loiret and Eure-et-Loir. This pleasant village is surrounded by large cereal-growing areas characteristic of Beauce, an agricultural region par excellence, but also by woods and small valleys that pleasantly break the monotony of the plain. The village is a few kilometers from Patay, famous for its battle in 1429 where Joan of Arc triumphed over the English.

Practical information

The flea market is held in the center of the village of Épieds-en-Beauce (45130), at the end of August. Opens at 6 am for exhibitors. Free admission for visitors.
