A solidarity flea market in the heart of Saint-Raphael

Organised each year by the Parents' Association (APE) of Alphonse Karr Middle School, this flea market has become a springtime fixture for families in Saint-Raphael and around the Esterel. Set up on the school's wide tarmac parking lot, it benefits from easy access, ample parking nearby and the soft early-May light of the Cote d'Azur.

What you will find

As in any parents' association sale, the atmosphere is mostly family-oriented. Stalls are run almost exclusively by individuals: parents, teachers, neighbours and locals emptying their attics, garages and cupboards. Expect toys, children's and adult clothing, baby equipment, books, crockery and small furniture.

Supporting the pupils

The APE donates all proceeds (stand fees, refreshments, catering) to educational projects: school trips, cultural outings, sports or music equipment. Bargain-hunting here means directly supporting Saint-Raphael's middle-school pupils.
