Each late June, Figanières celebrates the grey fig, local emblem for centuries. Gourmet stalls, conferences, exhibitions, parades and tastings pace this unique thematic festival in the Haut-Var, dedicated to this delicate Provençal fruit.
A festival dedicated to an emblem fruit
Figanières' Grey Fig Festival is one of the most original thematic festivals in the Var department. It celebrates the grey fig, ancient variety cultivated for centuries in the village gardens, now a true local emblem.
Grey Fig Festival Figanières — edition 2026
The 2026 Grey Fig Festival will be held on Sunday 28 June in Figanières, 9am-6pm. Producer stalls, fig and jam tastings, historical conferences, exhibitions, costume parades and musical entertainment.
