Plant fair, local crafts and swap meet in the heart of the megalithic city
The Carnac Plant, Local Produce and Craft Fair - Swap Meet brings together gardening enthusiasts, local artisans, and bargain hunters at the Ménec stadium. Carnac, a town of about 4,300 inhabitants on the southern coast of Morbihan, is world-renowned for its menhir alignments inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
Organized by the association Fleurissons ensemble, this friendly event is held annually at the stade du Ménec, a stone's throw from the famous Carnac alignments. It combines a plant fair with nurseries and horticulturists, a local produce and craft market, as well as a swap meet area.
Carnac is a seaside resort on the Morbihan coast that hosts up to 50,000 inhabitants during the summer season. Its megalithic alignments, with nearly 3,000 menhirs, constitute the largest Neolithic complex in the world and were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list in 2025. The plant fair takes advantage of this exceptional setting to offer a spring event combining nature and heritage.
Exhibitors offer a wide range of plants, local Breton produce, and artisanal objects. The swap meet area allows individuals to sell or exchange second-hand items in a family atmosphere. Admission is free and the event runs from 8:30 AM to 6 PM.
2026 edition of the Carnac Plant, Local Produce and Craft Fair - Swap Meet, on April 19, 2026 at the Ménec stadium.
