The 2025 Crépol Scarecrow Festival was held on Sunday, May 11, combining an exhibition of creative scarecrows and a car boot sale in the village streets. Residents and visitors discovered dozens of original artistic creations displayed in streets and gardens, while car boot sale exhibitors offered their second-hand items. A festive and family-friendly day characteristic of the associative life of the Drôme des Collines.
On Sunday, May 11, 2025, Crépol celebrated its Scarecrow Festival, an annual event that has made this village in the Drôme des Collines famous. The town's streets were filled with dozens of original scarecrows, created by local residents and associations. Humorous figures, revisited historical characters, and fantastical creatures transformed the village into an open-air popular art gallery, attracting photographers and families.
In parallel, the car boot sale animated the squares and alleys with its second-hand stalls: clothing, dishes, books, toys, and trinkets found buyers among bargain hunters who came to enjoy this festive day. The unique combination of scarecrow art and traditional bargain hunting created a unique and friendly atmosphere, typical of village festivals in northern Drôme.
The Crépol Scarecrow Festival and car boot sale will return on Sunday, May 10, 2026.
