The 2025 edition of the Fête des Cerises and Car Boot Sale of Vieillevie was held in May in the streets of this medieval village in the Lot valley. Visitors enjoyed a day combining bargain hunting and discovering local cherries, in the exceptional setting of this village dominated by its castle, a listed Historic Monument.

In May 2025, the village of Vieillevie hosted its traditional Cherry Festival accompanied by its car boot sale. From 8 am to 5 pm, the village streets came alive with flea market stalls and producers' stands offering fresh cherries, jams, and local specialties.
Visitors from Cantal and neighboring Aveyron enjoyed the remarkable setting of this Lot valley village, with its medieval castle, schist houses, and bridge over the Lot. The rural and family-friendly atmosphere charmed bargain hunters and food lovers alike, in the spirit of village festivals in southern Cantal.
The 2026 edition is scheduled for May, in the streets of Vieillevie.
