The largest gathering of flea market dealers in the Southwest
The Fête des Brocs de Port-de-Lanne is one of the largest flea market events in the Southwest of France. Organized every year on August 14th and 15th, this legendary festival brings together over 400 professional exhibitors in the streets of this small village of 650 inhabitants located on the banks of the Adour river, attracting at least 40,000 visitors over two days. Antiques, flea market finds, collectibles, vintage items, slow design, and booksellers mingle in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
For over 30 years, Port-de-Lanne, a modest village of 650 inhabitants nestled on the banks of the Adour in the southern Landes region, transforms itself on August 14th and 15th into one of the largest flea markets in the Southwest of France. Over the decades, the Fête des Brocs has become an unmissable event for bargain hunters, collectors, and antique enthusiasts from all over the region.
More than 400 professional flea market dealers take over the streets, squares, and alleys of Port-de-Lanne, turning the entire village into a vast open-air market. Visitors can find an extraordinary range of items: antiques, old and vintage furniture, collectibles, retro clothing, vinyl records, old books, tableware, lighting, curiosities, and slow design creations. The quality of the exhibitors is what makes this event renowned.
The Fête des Brocs attracts at least 40,000 visitors each year from the Landes, Basque Country, Béarn, and beyond. The atmosphere is electric and festive, blending the joy of the hunt with Landes conviviality. Entertainment, traditional music performances, local gastronomy stalls, and children's games complete this popular festival that transcends a simple flea market.
Port-de-Lanne, with its historic port on the Adour river, its old houses, and its green countryside, offers a picturesque and authentic setting for this event. The village, accessible from Peyrehorade, Dax, or Bayonne, is wonderfully suited for this flea market stroll through its flowery alleys and along the river.
The Fête des Brocs de Port-de-Lanne returns on August 14th and 15th, 2026, with over 400 professional dealers and an expected 40,000 visitors in the village.
