The Chalu'Éclec festival is a local summer event organized in La Baume-d'Hostun, a small commune at the western foot of the Vercors. La Baume-d'Hostun, between Vercors and Royans

La Baume-d'Hostun is a village of just over 500 inhabitants located at the foot of the western cliffs of the Vercors, in the Royans drômois region. Between the limestone escarpments of the massif and the plain of the Drôme, this commune benefits from a striking natural setting. A few kilometers from Romans-sur-Isère and Saint-Nazaire-en-Royans, it is one of those foothill villages that live in the shadow of the great karst massif.
