Flea Market and Country Festival in Sazeray

Every early August, the village of Sazeray (36160) organizes its annual festival which combines a flea market, country market, and entertainment. Exhibitors set up in the village streets and the municipal stadium to offer antique furniture, trinkets, tableware, books, tools, and various flea market items. A market of local products complements the offerings. Lunch and dinner are served on-site, creating an authentic village festival atmosphere.

Sazeray, a village in the Marche Berrichonne

Sazeray is a small commune of about 300 inhabitants, nestled in the south of the Indre department, between La Châtre and Aigurande. This region of the Marche Berrichonne, on the edge of Limousin, is a land of hedgerows, meadows, and small valleys. The village retains a typical center with its church, granite and sandstone houses, and an active community life that organizes this unifying festival every summer.
