Traditional fair and car boot sale in Siran, a village in the Minervois region of Hérault
The Siran Fair is a spring tradition that brings together producers, artisans, and car boot sale exhibitors in the central square of this Minervois village. Organized by the Festival Committee, this friendly day offers a market of local products and a car boot sale where bargain hunters and families find their happiness.
Every spring, the Festival Committee of Siran invites residents and visitors to share a friendly day around its traditional fair. In the village's central square, local producers, artisans, and private exhibitors set up their stalls to offer both local products and second-hand items. The car boot sale, the heart of the event, attracts bargain hunters from the Minervois and Biterrois regions.
Located about twenty kilometers northwest of Béziers, Siran (34210) is a charming village nestled in the hills of the Minervois. Surrounded by vineyards of the Minervois appellation, fragrant garrigue scrubland, and holm oak forests, the village has preserved its built heritage: Romanesque church, narrow streets, and shaded squares. The Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, passes nearby.
The Siran Fair captivates with its village atmosphere and the quality of its exhibitors. Bargain hunters browse the stalls in search of clothing, toys, books, crockery, and trinkets, while food lovers linger at the stands of honey, olives, cheeses, and Minervois wines. Refreshments and on-site catering allow for a pleasant extension of the day.
The Siran Fair and its car boot sale return on March 29, 2026. Producers, artisans, and private exhibitors in the village square.
