Exhibitor fee €20/5 linear meters, free entry.
Every summer in July, the medieval village of Landévennec comes alive to the rhythm of its great flea market and car boot sale fair, organized by the Amicale de l'Aulne. Exhibitors — professionals, individuals, and associations — set up their stalls along a picturesque route from the place de la mairie to the esplanade du port, passing through the rue Saint-Guénolé. It is one of the most unique flea markets in Finistère, due to its historic setting and exceptional geographical location.
Setup begins very early in the morning, between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM, at the port of Landévennec and on rue Saint-Guénolé. The market opens to the public at 8:00 AM and continues until 6:00 PM. The stall fee is €20 for a 5-meter linear stand, an accessible price for everyone. The event is free for visitors. Reservations are made by sending the registration form and a check payable to the Amicale de l'Aulne.
Perched at the confluence of the Aulne and the Brest roadstead, in the Parc Naturel Régional d'Armorique, Landévennec is one of the most historically rich villages in Brittany. The Saint-Guénolé Abbey, founded in the 5th century by the Breton monk Guénolé, is one of the oldest monasteries in Armorican Brittany. Its museum, dedicated to the history of the abbey and medieval Breton civilization, is a must-see.
The port of Landévennec, facing the French Navy's ship graveyard — Europe's last active naval cemetery — offers a striking panorama of the wrecks of old warships. This village of a few hundred inhabitants attracts thousands of visitors each summer, fascinated by this exceptional heritage. The summer flea market offers an additional reason to stay in this remote corner of Brittany.
The Amicale de l'Aulne is the local association that has perpetuated this tradition of flea market and car boot sale fair for many years. In 2025, the event was in its 18th edition; the 19th edition is expected in July 2026. To register as an exhibitor, contact the Amicale de l'Aulne at 06 50 89 41 61.
