Fousseret Bean Exchange Fair

A unique meeting for fabophiles

Every year in October, the village of Le Fousseret hosts its bean exchange fair, a rare and original event dedicated to fabophiles — enthusiasts of galette des rois beans. Under the covered hall of the Place du Paty, seasoned collectors and the curious gather from 9 am to 6 pm to exchange, buy, and sell beans of all eras and styles: hand-painted porcelain beans, gold-plated beans, themed beans, complete sets, and rare pieces.

More than a decade of passion

The Fousseret bean fair was created over ten years ago on the initiative of local enthusiasts and with the support of the i-fousseret association. The 2025 edition was its 10th edition, proof of the vitality of this event which has successfully retained a collector audience from all over Occitanie and beyond. Fabophily is a little-known but lively passion in France, with several thousand collectors registered.

Le Fousseret, a village in Volvestre

Le Fousseret is a commune of about 1,800 inhabitants located in the Volvestre region, 50 km southwest of Toulouse. This rural village has a covered hall in the Place du Paty that regularly hosts markets and events. The village is also known for its September agricultural fair and its green setting between the Garonne plain and the hillsides.

Participation is open to all bean collectors. To reserve a spot, please contact the organizer Marie-Astrid at 06 80 78 68 33. Entry is free for visitors, and the atmosphere is warm and passionate, conducive to great discoveries.
