Over forty years of flea market tradition

The Flea Market of Baignes-Sainte-Radegonde is a historic event in South Charente. For over forty years, the Animation Committee of Baignes and its surroundings has organized this event that revives the Place des Halles and the adjacent village streets. It is one of the oldest and most reputable flea markets in the canton.

The Place des Halles, heart of the event

The flea market is set up around the magnificent medieval hall of Baignes, a testament to the rich commercial past of this small Charente town. Exhibitors display their stalls under and around the hall, as well as in the neighboring streets, creating a lively market where antique furniture, tableware, tools, toys, trinkets, old linens, and curiosities from all eras mingle.

Baignes-Sainte-Radegonde, a village of character

Baignes-Sainte-Radegonde is a commune in South Charente, located between Barbezieux and Montlieu-la-Garde. Its remarkable architectural heritage includes the former Benedictine abbey, the Romanesque church, and the medieval hall, all testaments to the historical importance of this village. The Recyclerie Brocante de Bellue, located at 25 rue du Champ de Foire, offers a space of over 300 m² dedicated to second-hand items all year round.

Refreshments and food

The Animation Committee provides refreshments and food on-site, allowing visitors to enjoy a full day of bargain hunting in a friendly atmosphere. Admission is free.
