May Day flea market on the village square of Fénery, in the Gâtine parthenaisienne
Every May 1st, the small commune of Fénery, nestled in the Gâtine parthenaisienne in Deux-Sèvres, hosts its traditional flea market on the village square. This human-scale event is one of those authentic rural gatherings that embody the charm of the Deux-Sèvres countryside.
The Fénery flea market organizers take care to welcome exhibitors, who arrive from 7am and are greeted with complimentary coffee. The public is then welcomed from 8am for a relaxed day of browsing.
One of the distinctive features is offering both outdoor pitches on the village square and indoor spaces in an adjoining hall. Outdoor: €1.50/m. Indoor: €2.50/m.
