One of the largest flea markets in northern Île-de-France, every 1st May in the village streets
In Survilliers, a commune in northern Val-d'Oise bordered by the Forêt de Coye and accessible from the A1 motorway, the Annual Flea Market is a major event in the local calendar. Organised by the Comité des Fêtes de Survilliers every 1st May, it brings together several hundred sellers in the main streets of the commune, which are pedestrianised for the occasion.
With between 300 and 500 stalls, this event is considered one of the largest flea markets in northern Île-de-France. Private sellers and professionals rub shoulders in a lively atmosphere: you can find everything from antique furniture to vintage clothing, toys, collectibles, tableware and books. Regulars know to arrive early to catch the best finds.
Beyond the flea market itself, the Survilliers brocante is a true village fair. Food stalls offer crêpes, churros and sausage sandwiches. The convivial atmosphere, spring sunshine and discoveries along the aisles make this 1st May event a celebration enjoyed throughout the region.
