FC Quatzenheim Grand Flea Market

A large-scale village flea market

The FC Quatzenheim Flea Market has become, over the years, one of the most anticipated events in the Kochersberg region. Organized by volunteers from the Quatzenheim Football Club, it allows the club to fund its sports activities, maintain its facilities and train young players. The flea market extends all along Rue Principale and rue des Seigneurs, offering between 100 and 200 spots that fill up quickly every year. This flea market's reputation extends well beyond the village limits: bargain hunters from Strasbourg, Molsheim, Saverne and even Germany come to do their shopping.

A varied and quality selection

From 6am to 6pm, exhibitors offer a very rich range of goods. You'll find antique dishware (porcelain, Betschdorf earthenware, glassware), trinkets, books and comics, vinyl records and CDs, vintage clothing, toys, nursery items, household linen, small furniture, tools, antique farming objects, wooden toys, postcards, stamps and many collectibles. The quality and diversity of the stalls contribute to the success of this flea market, which attracts a loyal and growing audience year after year. Refreshments, catering, toilets and parking are provided on site by club volunteers.

Quatzenheim, a village in the Kochersberg

Quatzenheim is a small village of about 750 inhabitants located in the Kochersberg, a traditional agricultural region northwest of Strasbourg, famous for its wheat, corn and hop fields, but also for its half-timbered houses and religious heritage. The village is part of the Kochersberg community of communes and fits into a tradition of rural and festive life typical of this beautiful Alsatian region. FC Quatzenheim, the local football club, plays a central role in the village's activities, and its flea market has become over time a true unifying event that shines well beyond municipal borders.
