Early September 2025, the Essert flea market held its place in the Territoire de Belfort bargain-hunting calendar. The Comité des Fêtes and Foyer Culturel d'Essert once again delivered a flawless organisation for this much-anticipated annual event in the ~2,500-inhabitant commune south of Belfort.

Private sellers and professional dealers set up from early morning, offering furniture, crockery, clothes, toys, vinyl and knick-knacks. The bar provided convivial breaks throughout the day. The 2026 edition is expected on the first Sunday of September.
