The Ascension réderie near the village hall
At Équancourt, the réderie is not just a bargain hunting event: it is an integral part of the village festival organized each year on Ascension Day. This combination is typical of many Picardy communes.
The réderie takes place around the village hall, the natural gathering place for major village occasions. This choice offers several advantages: sufficient space, practical parking.
Équancourt is a small commune of about 200 inhabitants located in the Vermandois, in the east of the Somme, about thirty kilometres northeast of Péronne. Like so many other villages in the area, it was destroyed and rebuilt in the 1920s.
The 2025 edition of the Équancourt réderie was held on 29 May, also on the occasion of the village festival. This regularity testifies to the local rooting of the event.
Beyond the réderie alone, the day at Équancourt offers all the elements of a village festival: meal or catering on site, entertainment, bar. Exhibitors, mostly private, offer typical bric-à-brac.
Visiting Équancourt for its réderie is also an opportunity to discover this sector marked by the Great War battles. Péronne and its exceptional Historial are accessible points of interest.
Near the village hall, Équancourt (80360). Access via D20 from Péronne (30 km).
Thursday 14 May 2026 (Ascension), all day.
