Looking back at the Écouis all-comers fair - May 1st, 2025
On May 1st, 2025, the village of Écouis hosted its annual all-comers fair. The streets and squares of the Norman village, with the silhouette of the magnificent Notre-Dame collegiate church as a backdrop, welcomed exhibitors and bargain hunters for a day of flea market and car boot sale.
The May 1st tradition in Écouis combines the pleasure of bargain hunting with the discovery of exceptional architectural heritage. Visitors who took advantage of the day to visit the collegiate church - with its Gothic sculptures and medieval stalls - were able to combine culture and flea market finds in one of the most heritage-rich villages in the north of the Eure department.
