Spring tradition of the Collections Traditions Passions Association on avenue Paul-Lafargue
Organized by the Collections Traditions Passions Association (ACTP), the Easter Monday car boot sale is one of the flagship spring events in Toulouges. This urban commune of 7,375 inhabitants, part of Perpignan Méditerranée Métropole, is located between Thuir and Perpignan in the Roussillon plain. The event traditionally takes place on the wide avenue Paul-Lafargue, transforming the thoroughfare into a vast open-air market for a day of convivial bargain hunting.
The ACTP is a well-established Toulouges association that works to preserve Catalan traditions and animate the village. Its Easter Monday car boot sale attracts a large audience each year from neighboring communes in the Perpignan area: Perpignan, Canohès, Thuir, Le Soler and Baho. Exhibitors — mainly private individuals — offer clothes, toys, dishes, books, trinkets, leisure equipment and small collectible items.
The ACTP reserves pitches for Toulouges residents as a priority: resident registrations begin Friday, March 20, 2026 at the Maison du Patrimoine. Remaining pitches are then opened to outside exhibitors subject to availability. This ensures strong local roots and encourages the participation of Toulouges families.
