21st edition of the Roussillon Numismatic Association fair at the Jordi Barre hall in Pollestres
The 21st Pollestres Numismatic Fair brings together experienced collectors, passionate amateurs, and professionals around stands offering ancient coins, banknotes, shares and bonds, tokens, medals, and monetary objects. About fifty exhibitors from all over France and Catalonia animate this day dedicated to numismatics. Exchanges between enthusiasts allow collectors to complete their collections, authenticate pieces, and discover historical rarities linked to Catalan history and beyond.
The Roussillon Numismatic Association has been organizing this annual fair for more than two decades, making Pollestres a must-attend stop on the numismatic calendar of southern France and the Mediterranean. The 21st edition confirms the anchoring of this event in the local cultural landscape and its influence among specialized collectors. Free entry for visitors, free parking, and bar on site.
Pollestres, a commune in the Roussillon plain located 6 km southwest of Perpignan, once belonged to the Arles Abbey and then to the Benedictines of San Pere de Rodes in Spanish Catalonia. The Jordi Barre hall, which hosts the fair, pays tribute to the famous Catalan singer born in 1920 in Argelès-sur-Mer and who passed away in 2011, a major figure of North Catalan music. Pollestres is accessible from Perpignan via the D900 towards Le Boulou and Spain.
